Just bought one on strength of this review – looks a bit small but am hoping the design caters for better packing. Thanks SensiblePrepper!

Will a 40oz Kleen Kanteen or a Nalgeen fit in that top pocket?

Nice Bag! Nice Review. Now I have to try and figure out how I can explain, why I need "this exact bag" and not something way cheaper. wish me luck ;)

You should review the Pygmy Falcon-II. seems like a nice bag to add to your collection of Maxpedition reviews.

For large EDC bag+ being able to take it on a weekend camping, the Gyrfalcon or the Xantha? any experience? I know you reviewed the smaller Zafar. I live in Sweden so I kinda have to have both a sleeping bag as well as an underquilt (hammock camping). Looks like you could strap om two bags on the exterior of the Gyrfalcon?

Thanks for the another great review! For me, carrying a pack loaded to 30 + pounds for any distance makes a load-bearing padded waist strap a necessity. Please check out the Eberlestock G1 Little Brother and the modular and highly versatile J79 Skycrane II packs. I would highly value your opinion of them as I have these under consideration. Thanks!
